Steps to complete your Drought Preparedness Plan:
What is a drought preparedness plan?
The system water plan required by the Arizona Department of Water Resources consists of three parts:
- Water supply plan
- Water conservation plan
- Drought preparedness plan
This tool will guide you through the development of your drought preparedness plan. The purpose of the plan is to evaluate water demand reductions that can be implemented in response to drought conditions. Water systems should define specific measures to reduce water use when deemed necessary to meet available supplies.
